Statement is the AI command center for treasury operations. Their platform provides mid-market and enterprise companies a trusted, unified source for financial data while automating tedious manual workflows. Statement connects all of a customer’s banks and ERPs to provide a real-time global cash position, automate cash flow forecasting, and accelerate AP reconciliation.
Statement’s mission is to replace the fragmented data, spreadsheets, and manual workflows that bog down finance teams, and to give them the clarity and insight to make the right decisions, faster.
Statement raised $12M from Glilot Capital Partners, Citi Ventures, and Operator Partners. In June 2025, the company was acquired by Tipalti to bolster their mid-market financial automation suite.
Our Engagement
Statement approached us to support their Series A fundraise. The pitch deck was a great way to kick off the relationship, as it forced us to articulate the strategic direction of the company, the core story, and what they were building.
From there, we turned to the brand and website. The existing site wasn't supporting their go-to-market: no product imagery, vague descriptions, and an articulation of value so broad it was hard for prospects to understand if Statement was for them. It seemed to serve everyone, which meant it resonated with no one.
We evolved the brand around a new strategic direction: Statement as the AI command center for financial operations. The visual identity emphasized clarity, growth, possibility, and calm. It was centered around verdant growth in a deliberate contrast to the blue gradients and dollar signs that dominate the finance software space. We kept the logo and typography but rebuilt the color palette, key visual, tone of voice, and wrote all new copy.
The new website expanded from 4 pages to 15. Dedicated product pages featured actual product imagery, specific features, and benefits organized by user persona. We added a partnerships page, team page, and blog. The site gave Statement the infrastructure to tell a clear, differentiated story about what they did and who they served.
The brand work supported Statement's go-to-market efforts and helped position them for their acquisition by Tipalti.
